Sprint's Flex Lease program allows customers to lease a new cell phone over an 18-month period and then decide whether they want to upgrade to a new device on a new lease or pay off the remaining balance on the phone to own it outright. The Sprint Flex lease program is the carrier's version of the early upgrade program.
